Always a Bridesmaid...

While researching weddings, I stumbled upon the most hilarious website, UglyDress.com. I have been a bridesmaid multiple times, and although most of my friends and family have great style, there are a select few that don't. When it came time for them to pick out their bridesmaid dress's, let's just say they were not pretty (and that's me being nice). I am sure a lot of you can relate to what I am saying, and probably have tons of photographs (if you haven't burned them) to prove it.
On that note, here are some of the ugliest, most unflattering bridesmaid dresses I have seen. I promise this is not a joke, or pictures from Halloween! Hope you get a good laugh, I... did!

Offbeat Wedding Cake Toppers - Argumentative Bride & Groom
(TREND HUNTER) Not a fan of brideszillas? (Get over it, girls) These non-traditional cake toppers really tickled my fancy. I love the idea of having an arguing couple on top of a cake. Lets face it, that will be a million times more realistic than a couple kissing, entwined with doves or other such nonsense! In t… [More]

Create Your One of a Kind Diamond Engagement Ring
When it comes to shopping for a diamond engagement ring, you're going to be presented with a plethora of options. Whether you're shopping online or physical stores, you're going to be shown all sorts of styles, band designs, diamond cuts and other accents that your ring may consist of. However, if you're looking for a one of a kind ring that you can't find just anywhere else, then you may want to consider designing your own diamond engagement ring.
When designing an engagement ring, it's still important to buy a good diamond. Just because you're designing it, doesn't mean you want to throw out the rules of buying a good diamond. You still need to consider your 4 C's as cut, clarity, color and carat are still important aspects of designing your own diamond engagement ring.
However, when it comes to the design of the band, diamond accents and engraving, you have your entire imagination to use. If you need a little help, consider using the Abazias Ring Builder. This tool will help you to choose your gold choices, your diamond and its specifics as well as your price range. By the time you are done you will have a custom made diamond engagement ring made just for you.
Another option you have is to sit down with a jewelry maker and have a ring truly designed to your taste. Once you have your loose diamonds chosen for your ring, the designer will work with you to create the ring of your dreams. You can often even sketch a design idea by hand and they will do their best to create a ring to your liking. Either way, you go, you're able to have a custom diamond engagement ring unlike any other. Check out the rings I designed below. Not only was it fun to design these rings, but I love the end result for each! I think I have good taste, if I do say so myself! Thoughts??

Summer Weddings!
Personally I am a winter baby and could not imagine getting married in the summer. I am one of those people that definitely prefers being cold as opposed to being too hot. Don't get me wrong, I love the in between-Fall and Spring, and I do love a day at the beach, but I am not a fan of humidity at all. I wouldn't even be able to ger married outside because of my severe allergies to pollen, etc. But enough about me! It seems a lot of people feel otherwise and May - August seem to be the most popular months for weddings. That being said, I am going to devote the next few posts to summer weddings.
There are so many options for summer weddings, such as a beach, or a garden. Days are longer and there are wonderful sunsets for a backdrop. Flowers are in full bloom, and fresh fruit can be served or used for decoration such as centerpieces. If it an evening wedding, use candles to create a warm and romantic setting. Below are some more ideas for summer weddings. Click each to find more details.
